£3M+ Asthma Health Technology Fund

HELP US SOLVE THE BIGGEST UNMET NEEDS IN ASTHMA WITH TECHNOLOGY

 

NIHR, EPSRC and Asthma UK and the British Lung Foundation have come together to launch a £3M+ fund to support the development and adoption of asthma health technologies. This fund has been designed to support innovation from concept stage through to scaling in the NHS.

The Asthma Digital Health fund will launch on 20 October 2020 and the deadline for this call is on 09 December 2020 (1pm BST)

 

The purpose of this call is to support the research and development of novel solutions to preventing asthma attacks and improving the lives of people with asthma.

The fund will be split into two phases, which will run concurrently:

·         PHASE 1 is for concept stage projects, in partnership with EPSRC (TRL 1-3) and we are looking for applications from academics.

·         PHASE 2 is for translational projects, in partnership with NIHR i4i (TRL 3-7) and we are looking for applications from multisector collaborations (Academics, SMEs & NHS trusts)
